Inglenook & Bread Oven

The aim with this work was to make the bricks of the Georgian bread oven more of a feature. As the lower bricks were so deeply permeated by soot, I achieved this by raking out the old mortar and repointing the bricks in a sympathetic lime-based mortar. I also cleaned the inglenook beam very carefully, so as not to damage any of the 17th century markings.
