Lime-rendering and Repointing

I stripped the unbreathable painted cement render from an 18th century cottage, revealing cob, stone and brick. I then rendered the cob, and repointed the stone and brickwork with a traditional lime mortar. Additional work included refacing the damaged upstairs lintels with reclaimed oak, replacing inadequate rubble with new stone, and making a small window feature of a hole left behind by a redundant Victorian pantry.
